Nicola Hanna Zaboura

October 22, 1938 — November 20, 2023

Nicola Hanna Zaboura, 85 of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away on November 20, 2023, at the Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia.  He was the beloved husband of Nihad Zaboura.
Born in Yaffa, Palestine on October 22, 1938, he was a son of the late Hanna Zaboura and the late Melvina (Habash) Zaboura.
Mr. Zaboura dedicated countless hours to his profession that spanned well over 40 years in radio.  He retired as editor in chief of the Arabic Branch of the Voice of America with over 30 years of service.
Mr. Zaboura's memory will be forever cherished as a beloved husband, father, brother and friend.  In addition to the special bond he shared with his wife, he leaves his children:  Johnnie Zaboura and Tatiana Zaboura Alyacoub and her husband, Dr. Motasem Alyacoub; his grandchildren:  Laith, Anabella, Katia, Rami, Meredith and Elizabeth; his siblings; Issa Zaboura, the late Nabil Zaboura, George Zaboura, Josephine Sansour, Diana Haddad and many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the St. Basil The Great Melkite Greek Catholic Church, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln, RI.
Burial will follow in the Cemetery of St. Basil the Great, Cumberland, RI.
Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
