Neal Benjamin Emerson

Neal B. Emerson, 77, of North Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2022. He was the beloved father of his son, Christopher, and his daughter, Carrie.Neal was born in Attleboro, MA on March 30, 1945, to the late Lewis and Helen (Collins) Emerson. Raised and educated in North Attleboro, MA, he was a graduate of North Attleboro High School - Class of 1963. In 1967, he graduated from the University of Bridgeport (CT).Mr. Emerson proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and rose to the rank of staff sergeant and later served in the reserves until 1973.As an accountant, he was employed by the former Foxboro Company, now Schneider Electric, for more than 50 years prior to his retirement.He was a member of the Bristol Lodge AF & AM in North Attleboro where he served as Master in 1980.Times spent watching the New England Patriots, reading and researching his genealogy were among his favorite pastimes.Mr. Emerson was proud to be a Mayflower descendent.In addition to his son and daughter, he is survived by his granddaughter: Alexandrea of East Providence, Rhode Island; his sister: Lois of Dover, Florida and her children: Michelle and Tim and their families and extended family and friends. He was the former husband of Patricia Rae Ainsley-Baker.Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation with Veteran's Honors on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
