Nancy Marie (Grande) Treen, 79, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January, 26, 2018 at Wingate of Norton Healthcare Center in Norton, MA. She was the beloved wife of Kevin Layne Treen. Born on March 23, 1938 in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Grande and Lois (Tyler) Birchall.A graduate of Tolman High School, she valued her role as a Homemaker to her cherished family.Nancy attended the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Attleboro, MA for many years. She was a warm, kind, and generous woman who loved shopping on QVC and delighted in purchasing gifts for everyone. She was truly proud of her Italian heritage and was a wonderful cook who will especially be remembered for the delicious meatballs she would make on Super Bowl Sundays. She loved visits to Narragansett, RI, Cape Cod, and the Cape Cod Canal. One of Nancy's favorite pastimes was playing slot machines, and she enjoyed visits to Foxwoods, Twin River, Atlantic City and to Las Vegas. More than anything, she treasured spending time with her family.In addition to her husband, Kevin, she leaves her loving children: Richard A. Dunning. Jr., and his wife, Deborah Dunning, of North Attleboro, MA; and Cindy M. (Dunning) Miller and her husband, Richard Miller, of North Attleboro, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Dawn (Dunning) O'Neill and her husband, William O'Neill, of North Attleboro, MA; Keri Dunning and her partner, Kevin Burns, of North Attleboro, MA; Jarret B. Miller and his wife, Emily Miller, of Framingham, MA; and Ryan S. Miller of Putney, VT. She was the proud great-grandmother of Julia O'Neill, Cameron O'Neill, Kyle Cloutier, and Abbi Cloutier, all of North Attleboro, MA; Luke Miller of Framingham, MA; and Kayla Burns and Darren Burns, both of North Attleboro, MA. Nancy was the sister of Donald Grande of Buffalo, NY, and leaves her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carson and Dianne Treen of North Attleboro, MA. She was the sister of the late Alan Heroux. She leaves her nieces: Shelley Reidy, Carianne Treen, and Sonia Medeiros; and her nephews: Paul Grande, Jon Grande, and Don Grande.
