Nancy Marie Rostron

Nancy Marie (Plourde) Rostron, 93, of Warren, RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Grace Barker Health in Warren. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Edward Rostron who died on October 1, 2000. Born on May 19, 1925 in Iron River, MI, she was the daughter of the late Ben Plourde and the late Elizabeth (Legault) Plourde.Prior to living in Warren, Nancy resided in Swansea, MA, and from 1953 until 2012, she was a resident of Boscawen, NH. As a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, she cherished her role as a homemaker to her family. She also took great pride in tending to her yard and flowers. Nancy was known for her warm smile and always extending hospitality.She leaves her loving children: Cynthia L. Dray and her husband, Robert Dray, of Ledyard, CT; Kenneth E. Rostron and his wife, Gail A. (Tibbetts) Rostron, of Barrington, RI; and David J. Rostron and his wife, Cindy Kay (West) Rostron, of Palm Coast, FL. She was the adoring grandmother of Jared D. Rostron, Megan E. Pascarelli, and Michael Rostron; and the proud great-grandmother of Hailey Paige Rostron. Nancy leaves her dear niece, Annie Logan of Thomaston, ME, who was like a daughter to her. She was predeceased by her sisters: Dorothy Brzezinski and Betty Hooper, and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service for Nancy on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 9 Wilbur Avenue, Warren, RI.
