Nancy Ann Mcgowan

Nancy Ann (Kelley) McGowan, 83, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Francis McGowan who died on May 10, 2006.   Born on January 12, 1934 in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late William P. Kelley, Sr. and Adele B. (Kiely) Kelley.   Nancy was a graduate of Our Lady of the Presentation School in Brighton, MA.  She worked for many years as a Secretary for Honeywell and was a loving Homemaker for her family.   A resident of Attleboro for the past twenty-five years, she previously lived in Foxboro, MA.  A bright and vibrant woman, Nancy cherished spending time with her family. She loved entertaining and cooking, and was known to feed her guests even when they didn't realize they were hungry. She loved her dog "Coco" and also enjoyed her garden.   She is survived by her loving children:  Nancy Ann (McGowan) Nestor and her husband, Edward J. Nestor, of Mansfield, MA; and Kate McGowan of Attleboro, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Benjamin A. Nestor and his wife, Kimberly; and Paul E. Nestor and his wife, Jacquelyn; and great-grandmother of Liam P. Nestor. Nancy was the sister of Julie D. McHugh and her husband, Francis X. McHugh, of Delray Beach, FL; Joseph J. Kelley of Cape Cod, MA; and sister-in-law of Colette "Claire" Kelley of Marshfield, MA; and was predeceased by William P. Kelley, Jr.; Klare J. Borowski; Paul H. Kelley; John "Jack" J. Kelley; and Adele C. Gibney.
