Nancy Patricia Brown

Nancy Patricia (Downing) Brown, 69, of Agricultural Avenue, Rehoboth, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 surrounded by the love of her family at her residence. She was the wife of the late Vincent Stanford Brown to whom she was married on February 9, 1966 and who died on December 15, 2007. Born in Oyster Bay, New York on January 25, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Edith (Dual) Downing. She was a graduate of Oyster Bay High School and later earned her associate's degree from Becker Junior College in Worcester. She had been a resident of Rehoboth for more than 40 years. Mrs. Brown enjoyed a nice glass of wine, the relaxation and spiritual growth through practicing yoga, cooking and cherished the time spent with family creating lifelong memories. She leaves two children: Scott V. Brown of Rehoboth and Jennifer G. Brown of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and a granddaughter: Kayla E. Brown of Boston. She also leaves several members of her husband's family and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard Downing and Paul Downing. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the DYER-LAKE FUNERAL HOME, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
