Monique Theresa Rousselin-Roberge passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, surrounded by many beloved family and friends. Though her time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and memories she leaves behind are infinite.

Monique had a rare gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and loved. As an accomplished hairstylist, she also had a talent for making people look as beautiful on the outside as she felt they were on the inside. She moved through life with warmth, humor, and an open heart, collecting friends everywhere she went. To know her was to be drawn into her light, and even though she had hundreds of friends, some lifelong and some brand new, she somehow still made each person feel like they were the most special person she knew.

Born on July 1, 1985, Monique lived fully and loved deeply. Monique's presence was magnetic and she will be remembered by her bright inner light, her generous spirit, her empathic and intuitive nature, her compassion for all (especially for children and marginalized people), and her unforgettable laugh.

Monique is lovingly remembered by her mother Denise Roberge, brother Christian Roberge, her most precious niece Alma, and Alma's mother Hoshaiah Barczynski. She is also survived by her Grandma Mary Ilene Roberge-Trainor, uncle Roland Roberge and his wife Katie, her aunt Dorinne Roberge and her husband Bradford White, her uncle Greg Roberge and his wife Janice, and her great-aunt Paulette Jamison.

She is greatly missed by her cousins Nicole "Nikki" Hammons, Christiana "Nani" Roberge, her husband Steven Scott Jr., and their son Steven "SP" Scott III, and Marie Roberge and her husband David Flaherty. On her deceased father's side, she is remembered by her uncle (Tio) Guillermo Rousselin and her aunt (Tia) Miriam Rousselin, along with their children and numerous cousins, in Canada and Guatemala.

She is preceded in death by her father, Sergio David Rousselin ("Papa"), her Grandpa Roland "Butch" Roberge, cousin Roland "Eric" Roberge, "Grandpa" Paul Trainor, her paternal grandparents Guillermo and Pilar Rousselin, and her uncle Jaime Rousselin.

She is also loved and will be missed deeply by her "Framily" - her soulmates and chosen family. Her legacy will live on in the countless stories, inside jokes, shared adventures, and friendships she created so effortlessly.

Her loved ones would like to express their gratitude to the health care workers at Boston Medical Center, especially the Surgical Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, for all the care and love they provided Monique and her family and friends while she was there.

We lovingly remember Monique as a woman who was deeply loved by everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Visitation on Tuesday June 30, 2026, from 4PM until 7PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

A Funeral Service will be held privately at a later date.
