Mildred Kay Terreault

Mildred "Pixie" K. (Jones) Terreault of Attleboro, a business co-founder, died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, September 16, 2012. She was the wife of the late Armand J. Terreault who died in 1991. Born in Dover, New Jersey on January 15, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Lillian (Naylor) Jones. She graduated from St. Johns Academy in Mt. Lakes, New Jersey and was a graduate of Katherine Gibbs School of Business in New York City. She and her family resided in New Jersey and Ohio before settling in Attleboro in 1983. In 1989 she co-founded the manufacturing firm, National Environmental Systems, in Seekonk and she was affiliated with the company until her retirement in 2007. "Pixie" was a member of the Murray Unitarian Universalist Church in Attleboro where she was an intricate part of the Food Pantry. She was an avid fan of tennis, the Boston Red Sox and spent Sundays watching the New England Patriots. She is survived by two sisters: Dr. Janice J. Johnston and her husband, Richard, and Nikki Duplissis and her husband, Don; five children and their spouses: Armand "Joe" Terreault; Christine Terreault; Timothy Terreault and his wife, Kathie, David Terreault and his wife, Kelli and Cathy Guthrie and her husband, Robert; eleven cherished and adored grandchildren: Amanda, Kyle, Tyler, Abigail, Atticus, Ben, Nick, Megan, Xander, Landon and Kamden. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Those in need of a ride to visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such gratis transportation. Relatives and friends are cordially to attend a Celebration of Her Life Service of Remembrance on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 12:00 PM at the Murray Unitarian Universalist Church, 505 North Main Street - Route 152, Attleboro with the Rev. Robert McKetchnie, Interim Pastor, officiating. A private graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 for the immediate family only at North Purchase Cemetery, North Main Street, Attleboro. Children's room available during visitation. Following church services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship, refreshments and remembrance at the church. Please omit flowers at Mrs. Terreault's request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Murray Unitarian Universalist Church, 505 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA 02703 to benefit the church food pantry program.
