Mildred Lois Reed, 69, of Richardson Avenue, Attleboro, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. Born on June 28, 1946 in Mansfield, MA, she was the daughter of William Wally Reed and Myrtle Luella (Lovely) Reed. Mildred resided in Attleboro for the past forty-five years, having previously lived in Mansfield. She attended Mansfield High School with the Class of 1964 and achieved her GED. Mildred was employed as an Office Worker for more than thirty years at Smurfit-Stone Container Company in Mansfield. Mildred was a kind woman and a genuine caregiver to all. She enjoyed playing cards and delighted in holding High Tea parties with her nieces and nephews. Family played an important role in Mildred's life, and she greatly enjoyed the company of her brother Fred's dog "Ginger". She was the beloved sister of Martha L. (Reed) Bennett and her husband, Andrew E. Bennett, Sr., of Harwich, MA; and William Henry Reed of Bradford, VT. Mildred was a loving aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to many cherished nieces and nephews, and also leaves her extended family and many dear friends. She was the sister of the late Mary Louise Reed, Fred Albert Reed, and Donald Hubert Reed. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, 3/4 mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. A Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Burial services will be privately held at Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield, MA. Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made in Mildred's memory to the Wycliffe Bible Translators, P.O.
