Michael Alfred Tyrell, 58, of Bank Street, Attleboro, MA, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Friday, October 16, 2015. Born on June 26, 1957 in Norton, MA, he was the son of the late James W. Tyrell, Jr. and the late Patricia A. (Bourdon) Tyrell Benner. Michael was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1975, and a life-long resident of Attleboro. He enjoyed his work as a Meat Cutter and Manager at Trucchi's Market in Taunton, MA for more than sixteen years. An avid and one-time semi-professional golfer, he could often be seen playing at Locust Valley Golf Course in Attleboro. Michael had a keen ear for music, loved all things electronic, and delighted in creating with empty boxes. He is survived by his dear sister, Lorna E. Hackenberg and her husband, Mark J. Hackenberg of Albion, NY; his nieces: Angela K. Tyrell; and Sara E. Salen and her husband, Wesley Salen; and his nephew Samuel J. Hackenberg and his fiancée, Erin Weber. Michael was the brother of the late Jeffrey James Tyrell who died on November 12, 2006, and his wife, Kim M. Tyrell of Johnston, RI. He leaves his extended family and many dear friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Funeral services will be privately held. Burial will be private in Taunton City Cemetery in Taunton, MA.
