Michael Thomas Sullivan

Michael Thomas Sullivan, 56, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at home. He was the husband of Marcia L. (Greim) Sullivan , to whom he was married on June 1, 1991. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 17, 1957, he was a son of Eileen B. (Barron) Sullivan of Norwood and the late Michael H. Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was a 1976 graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood. He also attended St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, graduating in 1980 with a BS in Food Marketing. Mr. Sullivan was employed by Crossmark in Foxboro as a Deli Specialist prior to his illness. Michael was known for his love of all sports, especially golf. He also served as a basketball official for the IAABO. In addition to his wife, Mr. Sullivan leaves two children: Kathleen L. Thurber and her husband Michael, of Rehoboth; Brendan G. Sullivan of North Attleboro; one brother: Gregg J. Sullivan and his wife, Sheryl L. of Norwood; three grandchildren: Austin, Aiden and Ava Thurber; mother-in-law: Joan A. Greim of Marston Mills and her late husband, Donald F. Greim; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the father of the late Michael Patrick Sullivan, who passed on June 25, 2009. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral at 8:30 AM on Monday, December 30, 2013 from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, North Attleboro followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street (Route 152), Attleboro, MA with Reverend Richard D. Wilson, Officiating. Burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro.
