Michael William Seymour, 42, of Broad Street, North Attleboro, died unexpectedly at his mother's residence in Plainville on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Born in Providence, Rhode Island on January 5, 1971, he was a son of Joan M. (Benkavitch) Seymour of Plainville and the late Paul Alan Seymour, Sr. Raised and educated in Norton, Mr. Seymour was a 1989 graduate of Norton High School. He moved to North Attleboro three years ago from Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Mr. Seymour was previously employed as a chef at many local restaurants including Tom's Tavern in Wrentham and Fitzy's Pub in Plainville and most recently was a personal care attendant for his mother. In addition to his loving mother, he leaves his dear brother: Paul A. "P.J."Seymour, Jr. with whom he resided in North Attleboro, his devoted Uncle Richard Benkavitch and cousin Mark Benkavitch; several extended family members including aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. A Celebration of His Life will be held immediately upon the conclusion of visitation at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 20, 2013 in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Burial will be private.
