Michael G. Padula, 80, of Mansfield, MA, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne A. (Tremblay) Padula. Born on May 3, 1937, he was the son of the late Michael D. Padula and the late Annie A. (Chretien) Paulus. Mr. Padula proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Army 13th Armor Division. He worked for many years as a machinist, an industrial engineer and as a real estate agent before retiring. He was a resident of Mansfield for twenty-three years and had previously lived in North Attleboro, MA. He enjoyed working on home improvement and mechanical projects, the outdoors, spending summers in Vero Beach, FL, and spending time with his family.In addition to his wife, Jeanne, he leaves his four children: Kenneth M. Padula and his wife Tammy of Laguna Niguel, CA; Mark D. Padula and his wife Alesia of Northboro, MA; Karen M. Connors and her husband Thomas H. Connors, of Newton, MA; and Steven R. Padula and his partner Sara Rindge-Knadler of Dana Point, CA. He was the loving grandfather of ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.Funeral services will be privately held at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Burial with full Military Honors will be privately held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
