Michael William Owens, Jr.

Michael William Owens, Jr., 31, of Dean Street, Attleboro, MA, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Rebecca (Beaulieu) Owens. Born in Attleboro, MA on August 7, 1984, he was the son of Michael William Owens, Sr. and Michele A. (Bolen) Coiner. Michael was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 2003, and a longtime resident of Attleboro. He worked in the construction business with his father and then later trained as a Welder. He enjoyed sports of most kinds, played football for pop warner and at Attleboro High School, and semi-professionally for the South West Florida Bobcats. He also enjoyed baseball, as well as dirt biking. Michael took great pleasure in fishing, but he most especially found joy in the time he spent with his four children. In addition to his wife, Rebecca, he is survived by his beloved parents: Michael William Owens, Sr. and his wife, Lois F. Owens, of Attleboro, MA; and Michele A. (Bolen) Coiner and her husband, William G. Coiner, of Saratoga Springs, NY. He leaves his treasured children: August K. Owens, 12, and Michael William Owens, III, 10, both of Saratoga Springs, NY; Ethan A. Owens, 3, and Arianna Rose Owens, two months, both of Attleboro, MA. He was the brother of Joseph R. Owens of North Attleboro, MA; Daniel J. Owens of Attleboro, MA; Chantel A. Owens of Attleboro, MA; Tyler W. Coiner of Saratoga Springs, NY; and Taylor N. Coiner of Saratoga Springs, NY. Michael is also survived by his loving great-grandmother Vera Corona of Saratoga Springs, NY; and loving grandparents Anne Solmo of Naples, FL; John Nelson of Saratoga Springs, NY; and Sandra Hall of Attleboro, MA.; many aunts and uncles, and cousins; and six nieces and nephews with the expectation of another; his extended family, and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Andrew and Bonnie Owens of Attleboro, MA, and Don Solmo of Naples, FL. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Noon) in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. A Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Burial services will be privately held.
