Michael Thax Paul Leonard, 61, of Lakeshore Drive, North Attleboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 10, 2011 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Lois J. (Laverdure) Leonard, whom he married on August 5, 1999 in Livingston, Montana. Mr. Leonard was born in Fall River on September 1, 1949, the son of the late Charles B. Leonard and Margaret M. (OConnor) Leonard. He was raised, educated and spent the majority of his life as a resident of North Attleboro. He was a 1967 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro. An entrepreneurial man, Mr. Leonard was self employed as the owner and operator of his own cobbler service. He also enjoyed taking on extra odd jobs as well. He was an avid history buff, and also enjoyed traveling and sports, most notably bowling and golf. In addition to his wife of almost twelve years, Mr. Leonard leaves a daughter: Alyssa J. Linkamper and her fianc, Jared R. Fredette both of North Attleboro; and a granddaughter: Haley Brooke Austin of North Attleboro. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Funeral services and burial will be private.
