Michael H. Lafond

Michael H. Lafond, 57, of Fayette Place, Taunton, died on Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. Born in Milton, Massachusetts on October 21, 1955, he was the youngest son of the late Marcel H. and Helen M. (Sheehan) Lafond. He attended St. Mary's School in North Attleboro, Brennan Middle School in Attleboro and Attleboro High School. Mr. Lafond enjoyed socializing with family and friends and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He leaves his siblings: Patricia Lafond-Valade of North Attleboro; Jeanne Lafond of East Providence, Rhode Island. He was the brother of the late Philip Lafond and Charles Lafond. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday morning, May 10, 2013 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. The funeral service will immediately follow visitation on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Carol Baker, Pastor of the Central Congregational Church, Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, officiating. Children's room available during visitation and the funeral service. Private burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Following services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
