Michael Anthony Judge, 48, of Flora Road, Attleboro, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 19, 2012 in North Attleboro. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on July 17, 1964, he was a loving son of Matilda "Tilda" M. (Caiazzo) Judge of Attleboro and Kevin J. Judge of Hilton Head, South Carolina. He was raised and educated in the City of Attleboro graduating in 1982 and continued his education at Springfield College. He was an avid athlete and excelled in football on both the high school and collegiate levels. Mr. Judge was also an excellent swimmer and downhill skier. He was a volunteer legal advocate for the Pro-Life movement for many years and would often serve as a lector for Pro-Life Masses and Vigils held throughout the area. A communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro Falls he also attended and assisted with the Pro-Life ministries at St. Joseph and the National Shrine of Our Lady of LaSalette both in Attleboro. He had very strong religious beliefs and convictions and devoted his life to helping others and serving his religion. In addition to his parents, he leaves a daughter: Casey Judge of California; a sister: Kathleen Judge of California; a brother: Stephen D. Judge, Esquire of Topsfield; two nephews; a niece; his maternal grandmother: Lucy Caiazzo of Florida and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday, August, 1, 2012 at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley Street, North Attleboro immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM which will be concelebrated by the Rev. Thomas a. Frechette, Pastor, and the Rev. Simon Mary, Michael's uncle. (directions to St. Mark's Church: exit 5 off I-95 N or S, bear right at end of ramp, proceed approx 1/2 mile on Robert Toner Blvd. then turn right onto Stanley Street. St. Mark's is located on the right hand side.) Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne Street, North Attleboro.
