Michael Roger Blanchard, 63, of North Attleboro, MA passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2026. He was the beloved Husband to Michelle Blanchard for 43 years.

Born on October 25, 1962 in Woonsocket, RI, Michael was one of the two children of Roger and Jeanne Blanchard. He graduated from Blackstone Millville Regional and went on to work as software engineer for 22 years.

He is survived by the love of his life, Michelle Blanchard, his daughter Nichole Silveira and her husband Sergio, and his son Nicholas Blanchard, as well as his Grandchildren Bianca and Brayden Silveira whom he cherished.

He is also survived by his sister, Debra Gignac and her son Daniel Gignac as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family member.

Michael was known for his laugh, the way he could make light of tough situations and his strength. Outside of spending time with his wife whom he was devoted to, he enjoyed finding new gadgets online, working on a garden, music, telling stories and looking for restaurants to try with his wife. He especially cherished time spent with his family, and father in law Ken Mylod.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

Michael Blanchard will be remembered always and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will take place at a later date privately.
