Merle Edward White, 77, of South Attleboro, MA, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at his home.Born on October 3, 1939 in Taunton, MA, he was the son of the late Arthur N. White and the late Thelma H. (Joslin) White.A resident of South Attleboro for the past twelve years, he enjoyed photography and the company of his faithful cat, "Zelka".Merle is survived by his dear sister, Thelma S. Dousette, with whom he lived, as well as his nephews: Frank J. Ruda, Jr. and his wife, Susan M. (Corey) Ruda, of Fall River, MA; and Arthur Hebert of North Conway, NH. He was the brother of the late Edith Hebert and the late Arthur N. White.
