Maurice "Bob" Udelson, 86, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence, RI. He was the beloved husband and best friend of the late Joyce Mildred (Lolio) Udelson, to whom he was married for over sixty years.
Born on October 14, 1932 in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Horowitz) Udelson.
Maurice, a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, Providence, RI Class of 1951, served our country in both the United States Air Force and Army.
While employed at Speidel Corporation, he completed his apprenticeship and worked as a toolmaker. He then moved on to be Production and Safety Engineers at Brite Industries, E.A. Adams, Franklin Manufacturing, and the Bruce Diamond Company, after which he was for many years the proud and dedicated president of his business, Premier Roll and Tool, Inc., in Attleboro Falls where he also served as President of the North Attleboro Industrial Park Tenants' Association.
A man of faith and devotion to family, Maurice had been a parishioner of St. Brendan's in Riverside, RI before moving to North Attleboro where he attended St. Mark's Church. He also frequented holiday celebrations at St. Margaret's Church in Rumford, RI. He enjoyed golf, bowling, and gathering with family. Always tinkering, he could fix most anything. Bob and Joyce loved to travel. Trips included many places around the country and the world, but he especially cherished trips with friends and family to the Berkshires, New Hampshire, Vermont, Saratoga, and Scotland.
He was the loving father of Keith Udelson and his wife, Lisa, of Attleboro, MA; Sharon Sarkisian and her husband Arthur, of FL; Blake Udelson and his wife Beth, of Bow, NH; and Tracy Udelson and her husband, Scott Herritt, of Ashaway, RI. He was the adoring grandfather of Barry, Justin, Adam, Spencer, Griffin, David, Hayden, Zachary, Maxwell, and Clara, and the proud great-grandfather of Ezra Udelson. He was the brother of the late Albert Udelson and his late wife, Sydel. He leaves many cherished brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren and dear friends, including his new ones at The Branches who have been so kind.
