Maureen Catherine King

Maureen Catherine (Donovan) King, 59, of North Attleboro, peacefully passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 with her loving husband, Steven, at her side. Born on January 10, 1957 in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John F. Donovan and the late Margaret A. (Larkin) Donovan.A resident of North Attleboro and previously Plainville, MA, Maureen was a graduate of Brighton (MA) High School, Class of 1975. She worked in the area of production for Sensata Technologies, formerly Texas Instruments, in Attleboro, MA for the past twenty-eight years.Maureen was a beacon of light and vitality for those who knew her. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting, word search puzzles, and reading. Unquestionably, her greatest joy came from time spent with her beloved family and friends.In addition to her husband, Steven, she is survived by her cherished daughter, Shannon M. King of Pittsburgh, PA. She was the sister of David B. Donovan of Brighton, MA, and the late John J. Donovan and his wife, Diane Donovan. Maureen leaves several nieces and nephews, including Kaylee M. Chouinard, Tatiana King, Nadia King, Katrina King, Sasha King, Stephen King, and Peter G. Capozzi, Jr. She leaves several cousins, including Carol Theodore, whose care and compassion were truly appreciated. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, ¾ mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
