Maryjane (Dowdall) Cleveland, 66, of McKeon Drive, North Attleboro, died at her residence on Saturday, January 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Donald R. Cleveland to whom she was married on July 22, 1967 and with whom she renewed wedding vows in August 1981. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on December 11, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Delphine P. (Rose) Dowdall. She was raised and educated in Attleboro where she a 1966 graduate of Attleboro High School. She earned her degree as a medical assistant from Fisher College in 1989. Mrs. Cleveland was employed at V.H. Blackinton & Company, Inc. in North Attleboro for five years as an inspector prior to her retirement four years ago. Previously, Mrs. Cleveland was employed as an inspector and in the shipping department at Tammy's Job Shop, Inc. for 20 years and had been a veterinary assistant for North Attleboro Veterinary Services for five years. She resided in Attleboro until moving to North Attleboro in 1967. Mrs. Cleveland was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro. She was a devoted New England Patriots fan and enjoyed games shows, word puzzles and crocheting. She was the beloved companion of her cats: "Bud" and "Honey Bunny". In addition to her husband, she leaves her children: Annmarie Dumont of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; Dawn Lee Cleveland and her husband, Mark Radziewicz, of Blackstone; her twin brother: Joseph Harry Dowdall of Attleboro; her Godson and cousin: Frank D. Rose of Attleboro; her aunt and uncle: Frank and Philomena (Moitozo) Rose of Attleboro; her grandchildren: Joshua R. Perry, Sandra J. Dumont, Michael P. Dumont, Jr., Caleb Dumont; Kylie R. Dumont and Mason D. Radziewicz; a cousin: Alan F. Rose in California and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. She was the cousin of the late Brian Joseph Rose who died on October 8, 2004. Private visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 in the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. For those in need of a ride to visitation simply call the funeral home directly at 508-695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such gratis transportation. A Private Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation on Friday, January 16, 2015 in the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
