Mary Helen (Williamson) Tocchio, 84, of Prescott Street, Attleboro, died on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro following a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Licurgo J. Tocchio who died on December 28, 1966.Born in Goldsboro, North Carolina on November 28, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Wiggins) Williamson. She moved to Attleboro four years ago from Quincy where she was a resident for more than 40 years. Prior to moving to Quincy, Mrs. Tocchio resided in North Carolina.She was a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her family.She leaves two daughters: Helen M. Tocchio and her partner, Linda M. McCormack, of Attleboro and Marylou Brancaccio and her husband, Ralph Brancaccio, of Whitman; five grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.She also leaves two additional children: Alfred and Joanne and was predeceased by three other children: William R. Tocchio, Sr. and Larry and Roberta Tocchio.Friends are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Her Life on Saturday, January 8, 2011 beginning at 1:00 PM at the home of her daughter, Helen M. Tocchio, 41 Prescott Street, Attleboro. Ms. Gretchen Robinson, Chaplain of the Hospice of the Community Visiting Nurse Agency, Attleboro, will preside.Burial will be private at a later date at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.Please omit flowers.
