Mary Ellen Scott

Mary Ellen (Fern) Scott, 83, of Raynham, MA, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on November 26, 2020.  She was the wife of the late David Fiske Scott to whom she was married on November 9, 1957 and who passed on March 13, 2005.
Born in North Adams, MA on April 26, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Edward James Fern and the late Mildred Mary (Schouller) Fern.
She was a 1956 graduate of Randolph High School.  Mrs. Scott had been employed as a bank teller for Rockland Trust in Cohasset for more than 10 years prior to her retirement in 1990.
A resident of Raynham for the past five years she had previously resided for many years in Cohasset where she raised her family.
She leaves her children: Deborah Scott-Comstock of North Weymouth, MA; Adam Scott of Hingham, MA; John M. Scott of Bridgewater, MA and Clifton Scott of Yardley, PA.  She also leaves six grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward Fern, Paula Fern and Phyllis Tapp.
All funeral services will be conducted privately.
