Mary M. (James) Morriseau, 69, of East Washington Street, North Attleboro, formerly of Circular Street, North Attleboro, died on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Morriseau to whom she was married on September 23, 1961 and who died on March 6, 2001. Born in Riverhead, New York on May 23, 1942, she was a daughter of Marion L. (Kratonville) James of North Attleboro. She moved from New York to Massachusetts and settled in North Attleboro 67 years ago. She was a 1960 graduate of North Attleboro High School. In addition to her mother, she leaves two sons: Michael Morriseau and his wife, Lisa Morriseau, of North Attleboro and Dennis Morriseau of North Attleboro; a daughter: Denise McCretton and her husband, Timothy McCretton, of North Attleboro; two grandchildren: Ashley Morriseau and Victoria Morriseau both of North Attleboro; a sister: Georgianna Betts of North Attleboro and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was the sister of the late Brenda Halsey. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. At her specific requests, there will be no public funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Mrs. Morriseau's love for animals may be made to the North Attleboro Animal Shelter, c/o 43 South Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.
