Mary McKenzie

Mary C. (McGhee) McKenzie, 78, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late James J. McGhee and Mary "Thelma" (Chapman) McGhee.

Mary was an exceptionally compassionate person with a natural gift for caregiving. She dedicated most of her life as a social worker in the mental health field. Her family was the source of her happiness. Her love for her family shone most clearly in her passion for gathering everyone together for a family barbeque on Cape Cod. She loved animals and had a special place in her heart for Brodie and Kiwi, her canine companions.

She was the devoted mother to Cheryl Daudelin of North Attleboro, MA, and the late Jaime Osborne.

Cherished grandmother to: Jordanne Lacie Daudelin of North Attleboro, MA, Janay Pelletier of Connecticut, Kystarra Jade Osborne of Hyannis, MA and the late Jesse Lee Daudelin.

Mary was the beloved sister to: David McGhee and his wife, Beth, of Falmouth, Edward McGhee and his late wife, Joyce, of Boston, William McGhee and his wife, Judy, of Harwich, MA, Robert McGhee and his wife, Holly, of Falmouth, MA, the late John "Jack" McGhee and his wife, Sandra, and the late James McGhee.

She was predeceased by three husbands, the late Charles Osborne, the late George Lipset and the late Michael McKenzie.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel".

Burial will be private in Saint Mary's Cemetery, North Attleboro, MA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary's name to Friends of the North Attleboro Animal Shelter, 29 Poppasquash Road, North Attleboro, MA 02760
