Mary Josephine (Morris) Kennealy, 96, of Christopher Heights, South Main Street, Attleboro, died on April 15, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the wife of the late James David Kennealy who died on February 2, 1974. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts on March 1, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Albert T. and Frieda (Pitman) Morris. She was a 1937 graduate of Natick High School. Mrs. Kennealy resided in Attleboro since 2007 having moved to the community from Woonsocket, Rhode Island. In earlier years as an ardent bowler, Mrs. Kennealy was a member of the Natick Bowling League. She enjoyed solving word search and crossword puzzles and loved to knit and crochet having made numerous cherished gifts for her family. Her favorite pastimes included a love for traveling, particularly the Grand Canyon and time spent at the beach. She leaves three children: James D. Kennealy and his wife, Barbara, of Chandler, Arizona; Albert "Timothy" Kennealy and his wife, Dana M., of Attleboro; Frieda Thompson, wife of the late Richard Thompson, of Mesa, Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren; two sisters: Patricia Donovan of Franklin and Doris Hammond of Newton and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. She was the mother of the late Mary J. Stephanski and was the sister of the late Henry Morris, Michael Morris, Richard Morris, Thomas Morris and Helen Chevalier. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a memorial visitation on FRIDAY, APRIL 25, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the DYER-LAKE FUNERAL HOME, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
