Mary Esther (Cavaliere) Hunt, 81, of Forest Street, North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, June 11, 2011 at the Golden Living Center of Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Gerald Hunt. She was the longtime 25 year companion of the late Clifford W. Dodge, who passed away on May 15, 2011. Mrs. Hunt was born in North Attleboro on May 7, 1930, the daughter of the late Arthur Cavaliere and Agnes (Iacuzzi) Cavaliere. She was raised, educated and remained a lifelong resident of the town of North Attleboro. She was a longtime employee of the V.H. Blackinton Company of North Attleboro, where she worked as a packer and a quality control specialist for over 20 years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Hunt was a longtime communicant of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in North Attleboro. She treasured the time spent with her family and friends. Mrs. Hunt also enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casinos of Atlantic City and Foxwoods. She leaves a sister: Ann M. Bellavance of Plainville; two brothers: Patsy Cavaliere of Attleboro and Anthony Tony Cavaliere of North Attleboro and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Thomas Hunt. She was the sister of the late Joseph Cavaliere and Armond T. Cavaliere. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Service immediately following visitation on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home with the Rev. Victor Chaupetta, M.S. of the National Shrine of Our Lady of LaSalette, Attleboro, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery in North Attleboro. Childrens room is available during the visitation and the funeral service. Following cemetery services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship, remembrance and celebration of Mrs. Hunts life at a location to be announced.
