Mary K. (Krueger) Fitzgerald, 77, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on January 6, 2023, upon arrival to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the much loved wife of the late Paul A. Fitzgerald to whom she was married from May 3, 1979 until his death on October 13, 2014.
Born in Chicago, Illinois on March 13, 1945, she was a daughter of the late William E. Krueger and the late Helen E. (Gause) Krueger. She was raised and educated in Illinois and was a graduate of Central High School in Plato Center, Illinois.
She was a woman of strong spiritual beliefs and was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark, Attleboro Falls, MA.
Mary will be lovingly remembered for her mischievous smile and the twinkle in her eyes.
She was employed as a stringer for C. Ray Randall & Company in North Attleboro, MA and prior to her retirement, she was employed by the former Benny's in North Attleboro, MA as the head cashier for nine years.
Mary was predeceased by her siblings: Bertha Ann Brown, George Krueger and Wilma Rogers.
She leaves nieces, nephews and special extended family members and friends.
A Mass intention will be offered on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark, Stanley Street, Attleboro Falls, MA.
She will join her beloved husband, Paul, at St. John's Cemetery, Worcester, MA.
