Martha Mary Henault

Martha Mary (McKeon) Henault, 94, of Attleboro, peacefully passed away at Golden Living Center of Attleboro on Saturday, August 8, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Henault who died in 1993. Born in North Attleboro, MA on May 14, 1921, she was a daughter of the late William James McKeon and Jane (Thompson) McKeon. Mrs. Henault made North Attleboro her home her entire life, and worked for many years at V.H. Blackinton in Attleboro Falls, and at Evans Case Co. in North Attleboro. Mrs. Henault was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, North Attleboro. She had a true love of dogs, her home and garden, flowers, Cape Cod, and Boothbay Harbor, ME. She was an active supporter of "Kid's Day" in North Attleboro, the North Attleboro Fire Barn Museum, and the local food pantry. She is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late James Joseph McKeon and his wife, Gertrude "Trudy" M. (Stone) McKeon of North Attleboro, and the late Kathleen (McKeon) Poirier, and the late William McKeon. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a funeral service immediately following visitation on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home; Sister Kathleen Corrigan, pastoral associate of Sacred Heart and St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception churches, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Children's room is available during visitation and funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Henault's memory to either the North Attleboro Animal Shelter at: Town of North Attleboro, Attn: Animal Shelter, 43 South Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760, or to the North Attleboro Fire Barn Preservation Society, PO Box 2632, Attleboro Falls, MA 02763.
