Martha E. (Metcalf) Ducharme,78, of Circle Court, North Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the former wife of the late William Alfred Ducharme who died on October 17, 2015. Born on February 14, 1937 in Wrentham, MA, she was the daughter of Russell Metcalf and Laura (Hurd) Metcalf. A graduate of Wrentham High School, Class of 1954, Martha retired in 1995 after working for many years as an Office Worker. She lived most of her life in North Attleboro and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of North Attleborough. She enjoyed working on puzzles, playing Bingo, dancing, reading, and using her computer. Family was most important to Martha, and she especially valued time spent with them. She is survived by her four beloved children: Patricia A. Quigley of Sebring, FL; John W. Ducharme of Somerset, MA; Shonda Y. Ducharme of North Attleboro, MA; and William R. Ducharme of Cato, NY. She was the sister of Joseph Metcalf of FL, and also leaves seven cherished grandchildren and two treasured great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and dear friends. Martha was the sister of the late Mildred (Metcalf) Soderquist; Helen (Metcalf) Fisher; Viola (Metcalf) Harrop; Dorothy (Metcalf) Tobey; George Metcalf; Howard Metcalf; and Ronald Metcalf. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, 3/4 mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service immediately following visitation at 3:30 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.Burial will be private.
