Mark Joseph Thibault, professionally known as "Boston Maaak", 50, of Attleboro, MA passed away unexpectedly in South Attleboro, MA on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
Born in Norwood, MA on August 30, 1970, he was a son of Dianne A. (Leonard) Moore of South Attleboro, MA and Charles M. Thibault of Nashville, Tennessee.  He resided in the City of Attleboro his entire life, except for five years he lived in Killington, Vermont.  He attended Attleboro High School and received his high school diploma from Middleboro High School.
A talented chef, Mark worked at the XFINITY Center in Mansfield, MA and was part of the Boston entertainment scene as a chef for the Encore Catering team, having cooked for numerous talents throughout the years.  Most notably, he traveled with the band Mercy Me and Dierks Bentley
His life was cooking, skiing, and traveling.  In earlier years, he was a ski patrolman at Killington Mountain in Vermont.  He was a respected and much adored member of the Encore Killington family and was loved by the patrons and employees at the Lookout Restaurant in Killington, VT where he was also employed as a chef.
Mark will be remembered for being compassionate and a man with a big heart - "to know him was to love him."
Mark was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Middleboro, MA and where his family recalls with love celebrating his 40th birthday celebration.
In addition to his mother and father, Mark leaves behind his three children: Brittney A. Thibault (Matthew Daigle), Mark S. Thibault and Jacob "Jake" Thibault - the children from a past relationship with Amy Holyoke - all of Middleboro, MA; three grandchildren: Olivia Alexandra Daigle, Camryn Alisa Daigle and Brielle Rose Daigle all of Middleboro, MA; his siblings: Michelle Fennessey (David Fennessey) of Prior Lake, Minnesota and Michael Thibault (Jessica) of Tampa, Florida; several nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends.  He also leaves his "sports buddy" - John Rudkowski of South Attleboro, MA.
Family and friends are cordially invited to honor Mark by attending Visitation in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Funeral services and burial will be conducted privately.
