Mark Steven Leach, 58, of Bank Street, North Attleboro, died on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood. He was the husband of Debra A. (Cauldwell) Leach to whom he was married on December 18, 1982. Born in Danville, Illinois on February 25, 1953, he was a son of the late Edward and Ethel Jane (Lee) Leach. He was raised and educated in Olivette, Illinois and resided in the City of Attleboro from 1963 until 2006 when he moved to North Attleboro. Mr. Leach was a veteran of the United States Army having served from September 18, 1972 until his honorable discharge on March 14, 1974. He was employed as a polisher for the former Swift & Fisher, Inc. for 15 years and at Alviti Creations in Attleboro for three years. He enjoyed listening to Classic Rock n Roll music especially the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Building models, spending time at Horseneck Beach and creating lifelong memories with his family were among his most cherished times. An ardent television enthusiast, his favorite shows were MASH, the Three Stooges and Two and a Half Men. In addition to his wife, he leaves six children: Tracey Leach in New Hampshire; Steven J. Wiley of South Attleboro; Mark S. Leach of Attleboro; Melissa Leach of Attleboro; Austin Leach of North Attleboro and Private First Class Aaron Leach, U.S. Army, of North Attleboro; three siblings: Michael E. Leach of North Attleboro; Nancy Pickett in South Carolina and John W. McDaniel in Florida; numerous extended family members including several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Ellen Fuller. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral service with Veterans Honors on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Kelly Thibeault, Pastor of the First Congregational Church, Old Post Road, North Attleboro, officiating. Inurnment with military honors will follow on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 12:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery Columbarium, Bourne. Childrens room available during the funeral service.
