Mark Patrick LaFontaine, 54, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his home. He was the loving and beloved son of Gerald A. LaFontaine, Jr., and the late Emilie Rita (Ringuette) LaFontaine who died on November 6, 2015.Born on July 12, 1963 in Attleboro, MA, he was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro, a graduate of North Attleboro High School, Class of 1981, and a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in North Attleboro. Mark worked as an Installer for Tyco (ADT) Security for more than twenty years. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast who loved riding his bike, especially taking trips to New Hampshire, and enjoyed country music. He truly loved spending time with his cherished family and with his friends. In addition to his father, he is survived by his beloved siblings: Stephen M. LaFontaine and his wife, Robin (Harris) LaFontaine, of North Attleboro, MA; Paul G. LaFontaine and his companion, Roberta Danley, of Edgewater, FL; Richard P. LaFontaine and his wife, Melody (Soderquist) LaFontaine, of Attleboro, MA; Philip G. LaFontaine and his wife, Kelly (Kelliher) LaFontaine, of Cranston, RI; and Peter J. LaFontaine and his wife, Leigh A. (Everett) LaFontaine, of North Attleboro, MA. He leaves several dear nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Mark by gathering for a Visitation on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
