Mark "Markie" Francis Bailey Jr.

Mark "Markie" Francis Bailey Jr., 59, of Taunton, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2023, at his home that he loved so much.
Born on January 21, 1963, in Foxboro, MA, he was the son of the late Mark Francis Bailey Sr. and the late Janice Grooms.
Mark spent his career as Floor Manager for Ivy Packet Company, in Canton, MA, which produced small packet products such as Splenda.
Known for his love of Elvis Presley, it would be to no one's surprise to find Mark listening to his collection of Elvis music. He couldn't get enough of watching Elvis shows or singing Elvis songs in his bedroom.
Mark had a strong faith in the Lord and enjoyed studying the Bible when ever he could.
Mark had a big heart and was a kind person to everyone he met. Always willing to help out others, he would put their needs before his own. He preferred living a simple life, finding an appreciation for quiet nights at home watching tv, especially comedies. Mark shared his interests with the friends he made and spent time with them when ever he could.
Those left to mourn him are his sisters: Patricia Wagner of North Carolina; Marilee Bailey of North Attleboro, MA; Helen Bruton of North Carolina; and his brothers: Kenneth Bailey of Foxboro, MA; and Christopher J. Bailey of Clinton, Iowa. He also leaves his nieces: Dorothy Willis; and Lisa Wilcox, and many dear friends who will sorely miss him.
Private Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at Woodlawn-North Purchase Cemeteries in Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, people are asked to carry out a random act of kindness or make a memorial donation in Mark's memory to VNA Caretenders, 50 Oliver St, North Easton, MA 02356.
