Marjorie Pleau

Marjorie B. (Nelson) Pleau, 97, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Center in Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard William Pleau Sr., to whom she was married on October 25, 1957, and who passed away on January 12, 2010.Born on June 20, 1921 in Steubenville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur H. and Elvira V. (Thorn) Nelson.Marjorie worked for many years as a Jewelry Worker until her retirement in 1983. She loved to crochet, was an avid reader, and enjoyed the simple pleasure of just taking drives. She was the loving mother of Richard W. Pleau II of Woonsocket, RI; Larry Creason and his wife, Lupe Creason, of CA; and the late William Creason; the late Marge Ann Belanger; and the late Candy Lanoue. She was the proud grandmother of Candy Belisle of North Smithfield, RI, and the great-grandmother of Courtney Toporoski and Cameron Toporoski, both of North Smithfield, RI; and leaves numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
