Marjorie Lola (Foss) Allard, 88, of Attleboro, MA passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 22, 2023, at the Life Care Center of Attleboro.
Born in Attleboro, MA on December 27, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Albanus D. Foss, Sr and the late Ida M. (MacDonald) Foss.  She resided for most of her life in the City of Attleboro.
Marjorie was employed as a waitress and bartender for various businesses in the Attleboro area for many years prior to her retirement at the age of 80.
She had a strong love for animals, especially held a dear passion for her cats.  Her grandchildren were the love of her life.
Favorite pastimes included doing word search puzzles, playing bingo and shopping and special trips to the craft stores.  She enjoyed having breakfasts at Bliss Brothers.
Marjorie leaves her children: Deborah L. Fournier, of Attleboro, MA; Darlene M. Sisson and her husband, William J. Sisson, of South Attleboro, MA; Michael R. Allard and his wife, Mandy A. Allard, of Punta Gorda, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, her late children's spouses: Edward Furtado of Rehoboth, MA and Elaine A. Foss of Pawtucket RI and many nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
She was the former wife of the late Roger William Allard and was predeceased by her three children: Patricia A. Furtado; Wayne M. Foss and Timothy E. Allard
Marjorie was the sister of the late Albanus D. Foss, Jr., Eugene Foss, Francis "Frank" Foss, Russell Foss, Earl Foss, Kennet H. Foss and Mildred Kingsley.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Visitation on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 9:30 am until 10:45 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel".
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter, 27 Pond Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Karen Carreiro, her niece, of Pawtucket, RI for all of the care she extended to Marjorie and her family.
