Marion T. (Trima) Wheaton, 87, of Plainville, MA passed away on December 23, 2023, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Wheaton, Jr. to whom she was married on September 3, 1956 and who died on December 15, 2001.
Born at the family home in North Attleboro, MA on November 15, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Americo V. Trima and the late Frances (Fraioli) Trima. Raised and educated in North Attleboro, MA, she and her late husband enjoyed more than 20 years residing on Cape Cod prior to her moving to Plainville, MA.
She was a graduate of North Attleboro High School.
Mrs. Wheaton was employed as a senior administrative assistant at Texas Instruments, Inc. in Attleboro, MA for 32 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the National Secretary Association.
Marion leaves a niece and two nephews: Deborah A. (Wills) Long and her husband, Gary A. Long, of Plainville, MA; Robert J. Wills and his husband, Will S. Vinson, of Plymouth, MA and David L. Trima and his wife, Julie (Depot) Trima of North Attleboro, MA.
She was the mother of the late Barbara A. Wheaton and was the sister of the late Ann B. (Trima) Wills and her late husband, James S. Wills, and Lorenzo P. Trima and his late wife, Cynthia E. (Bartlett) Trima.
Private graveside services will be held at Stevens Corner Cemetery, Rehoboth, MA.
