Marion L. Cerrone

Marion L. Cerrone, 77, of North Attleboro, passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Born in Providence, RI on February 25, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Anthony J. Cerrone and Jean C. (McLean) Cerrone. She was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Quincy City Hospital of Nursing, Class of 1959, and Emmanuel College Nursing Program, Class of 1978. She proudly served as a member of the United States Army Nurse Corps, stationed in Germany. A longtime resident of North Attleboro, and formerly of Quincy, MA, she was honored to have worked as a Registered Nurse for more than thirty years before her retirement. Marion found joy in the simple things in life such as the tranquility of her home and garden. She was the loving and beloved sister of Lee M. Cerrone Foley of Warwick, RI, and Donald A. Cerrone of Plainville, MA. She also leaves several nieces and nephew. Marion was the sister of the late Maurice R. Cerrone. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. A memorial service with Veteran's Honors will be held privately in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
