Marilyn E. (Bodine) Palmer, 77, of North Washington Street, North Attleboro; formerly of Attleboro and Plainville, died on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home in North Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Palmer to whom she was married on October 27, 1956 and died on December 12, 1999. Born in New Jersey on April 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Robert T. and Laticia (Farmer) Bodine. She was raised and educated in Cranston, Rhode Island. Mrs. Palmer resided in Plainville for many years prior to moving to North Attleboro, Attleboro and then returning to North Attleboro. She was a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her family. Her life was focused on her family and she will be lovingly remembered for her devotion and dedication to them. Among her favorite pastimes were solving crossword puzzles, reading and playing solitaire. She leaves three children: Kim E. Palmer of North Attleboro; Darlene A. Moran of Burrillville, Rhode Island and Keith E. Palmer of North Attleboro and a grandchild: Evan T. Moran of Burrillville, Rhode Island. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. A private funeral service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Please do not send flowers.
