Marilyn (Miller) Charette, 73, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Madonna Manor in North Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of Joseph G. Charette, to whom she was married on August 25, 1967. Born on December 22, 1942 in Central Falls, RI, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Miller and the late Irene F. (Brehio) Miller. Marilyn resided in Pawtucket, RI, Crossville, TN, and the Attleboro and North Attleboro areas, and was educated in the North Attleboro school system. She worked for many years in the jewelry business for various manufacturers, including the Swank, Balfour, and Robbins companies before retiring. She and her husband were like two peas in a pod, and could always be found together. Marilyn's greatest joy came from time spent with her family, including her cherished grandchildren and "grand-dogs". In addition to her husband, Joseph, Marilyn is survived by her beloved children: Robert F. Charette and his wife, Vaishali (Patel) Charette, of Goodyear, AZ; and Michelle L. (Charette) DeFeo and her husband, William E. DeFeo, Jr., of Warwick, RI. She leaves four grandchildren: Karishma Charette, Kiana Charette, Haeleigh DeFeo, and Hannah DeFeo; and was the sister of twin brothers, Albert Miller, of Los Angeles, CA, and Fredrick Miller of Canon City, CO, and Janice Fontaine of North Attleboro, Alice Cornell of Jefferson City, TN, Joanne Turinese of Attleboro, MA, Susan Moreau of Warwick, RI, and Charles Miller of Dandridge, TN. She leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marilyn was the sister of the late Irene Searle.
