Marie Louise Charron

Marie Louise (Gardner) Charron, 88, of Plainville, MA, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard J. Charron.Born on June 22, 1928 in Tracy, CT, she was the daughter of the late Howard N. Gardner, Sr. and the late Loretta (Gosselin) Gardner. A resident of Plainville and South Attleboro, MA, for many years, Marie worked in Quality Control for Tech Industries, Inc. in Woonsocket, RI for thirty-six years before retiring in 2004.She was a faithful and devoted member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Parish in South Attleboro, MA. The church played an important role in Marie's life. Spending time with her family and friends was precious. A fan of all the major league Boston area sports franchises, the New England Patriots football team was most dear. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed gardening and bird watching.Marie is survived by her two sons whom she adored: Gerard J. Charron, Jr. of Providence, RI, and Dale John Charron of Plainville, MA. She leaves several nieces and nephews.Marie was the sister of the late Shirley H. (Gardner) Parker, the late Howard N. Gardner, and the late Phyllis (Gardner) Bryson.Visitation has respectfully been omitted.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.A Children's Room is available during the service.Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls, MA.
