Maria Goncalves

Maria Elisa (Blanco) Goncalves, 89, of North Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully at the Madonna Manor in North Attleboro, MA on January 3, 2026. She was the wife of the late Adalberto Goncalves.

Born in Cabo Verde on November 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Jose Blanco and the late Laura Teixeira. She resided in her native country until moving to Senegal where she worked as a seamstress in the upholstery business. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 18.

She was employed for more than 35 years as a machine operator at Texas Instruments in Attleboro prior to her retirement.

She was the loving mother of Ulysses Oliviera and his wife, Fatima R. Oliviera, of Johnston, Rhode Island and Nicole O. Santos and her husband, Ernesto Santos, of North Attleboro, MA; four grandchildren: Brandon Oliviera, Kelsey Oliviera, Phillip Santos and Ulysses Rose; one great grandchild: Gillisa Rose; her surviving siblings: Maria Texiera of Pawtucket, RI and Joao Agusto Texeira of The Neverlands, Holland and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel".

Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.

Please do not send flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

Família e amigos estão cordialmente convidados a participar da Visitação na quarta-feira, 7 de janeiro de 2026, das 9h às 11h, na "Capela Memorial" da Funerária Dyer-Lake, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Vila de Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, seguida de um Serviço Fúnebre às 11h na "Capela Memorial".

O enterro seguirá no Cemitério North Purchase, North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
