Maria L. (Frie) Lemire

Maria L. (Frie) LeMire, 83, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island passed away at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence, RI on January 14, 2022.  She was the former spouse of the late Leonard G. LeMire.
Born in Germany on August 31, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Karl Frie and the late Maria Frie.  She immigrated to the United States at the age of 17.  A resident of Pawtucket for 25 years, she previously resided in Central Falls, Rhode Island.
Mrs. LeMire worked as a private care attendant for many years and previously was employed by Schoolhouse Candies, Nyman Manufacturing, Ann & Hope, and International Packaging.
She was known for her cooking abilities, especially French cuisine which was "restaurant quality".
Mrs. LeMire enjoyed crocheting, reading, and traveling.
Left to mourn her loss are three children: Sandra Parfitt of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; Maria L. LeMire of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and John G. LeMire of Palmer, Massachusetts; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be private, and burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston, Rhode Island.
