Maria Gloria Freitas

Maria Gloria (Silva) Freitas, 84, of Plainville, MA passed away on February 1, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Richard Freitas for 68 years.
Born in Fall River,MA in 1938, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Silva and the late Elvira (Medeiros) Silva.
She was a communicant of Saint Martha's Church, Plainville MA.Maria was an employee for the Plainville School systems for many years where she started as a learning disability assistant then later on worked as the secretary to the principal.
She mostly enjoyed being with her husband. They were always together - vacations, being with mutual friends and winters at the Florida house.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her children: Rick Freitas of North Attleboro, MA; Tammy (Freitas) Hamel of Bellingham, MA; Christopher Freitas and his wife, Kathryn, of North Attleboro, MA.
She had 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
