Margaret Mary Iverson
February 15, 1927 — June 18, 2021
Margaret Mary (Haybatian) Iverson, 94, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2021.
Born on February 15, 1927, in Lowell, MA, she was a resident of Mansfield, MA for twenty-five years before moving to the Life Care Center of Attleboro.
Margaret worked for many years at the Johnson Nursing Home as a cook before retiring. She also worked for many years as a night cleaning woman for the State Street Bank in Boston.
A woman of faith, she had attended St. Mary's Church in Mansfield. Margaret long enjoyed crocheting three-piece infant sweater sets and generously donating them to Sturdy Memorial Hospital's maternity ward. She loved movies and thoroughly enjoyed watching her large collection of favorite ones, especially those with Chuck Norris and Charles Bronson. Margaret also enjoyed playing Bingo and Solitaire. What truly brought her the most joy in her life, though, was simply being with her family,
Margaret was the loving mother of Jack A. Iverson of Mansfield, MA; William Iverson of Raynham, MA; Michael Iverson of Florida; Joseph Iverson of Florida; and Carol A. Iverson of Mansfield, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of her seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She leaves several nieces and nephews and her extended family. Margaret was predeceased by her eight siblings.
Margaret Iverson was a very special person. A warm and caring woman, those who met her instantly liked her, everyone who knew her called her "Mom". She will be sorely missed.
At her request, there will be no services for Margaret.
