Margaret Cavalieri

December 25, 1953 — December 11, 2025

Margaret "Peggy" Elizabeth (Armstrong) Cavalieri, 71, of Plainville, MA passed peacefully in her sleep at home on December 11, 2025. She was the beloved wife of 42 years to Steven Cavalieri, Sr.

Shortly after marrying, Steven and Peggy moved to Hawkins Street where they turned an empty field into the farm of their dreams where Peg could live amongst the horses, dogs, and cats she loved so much. It was here they raised their son, Tony Cavalieri and where her adopted late son Jonathan Cavalieri lived with them as a teen.

Born in Brockton, MA on Christmas Day 1953, Peg was daughter of the late Thomas Armstrong and the late Beverly (Cox) Armstrong. Like Steve, Peg grew up in North Attleboro along with sisters Pam McGuirk and Pat Frost.

Peg enjoyed long hours by the pool in the summer, a roasted toasted almond at Christmas, and staying up through the night to care for a new litter of barn kittens. She loved plants, and had a tremendously green thumb. In her younger years, she loved long trail rides on horseback and in later years cherished her daily trips out to the barn to spend time with her gentle giants. In her life, Peg was fortunate enough to travel to many beautiful places like Hawaii and Jamaica, yet there was nowhere she'd rather be than home with her friends and family.

In addition to her husband, son, and sisters she will be missed by her daughter-in-law Ashley Cavalieri, her niece, Ainslee Frost; her grandchildren Mackenzie Cavalieri, Ashli Cavalieri, Jonathan Cavalieri, Michael Cavalieri Jr., Owen Cavalieri and Addison Cavalieri; her stepchildren: Michael Cavalieri Sr. and his wife, Tracy Cavalieri, Steven Cavalieri Jr. and his wife, Gina Cavalieri, and Kristen Cavalieri; and her brothers-in-law Bob McGuirk and Craig Frost.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel".

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne Street, North Attleboro, MA.
