Marcia Louise "Nana Lambert" (French) Lambert, 74, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late James Wilfred Lambert who died on May 1, 2013.
Born on March 6, 1944 in Newton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Leroy French and the late Frances Elisbeth (Seeley) French.
A graduate of Newton High School, she worked for many years as a Quality Control Inspector in the semi-conductor industry for the former Cabot Company and the former Augat, Inc., before retiring.
A resident of North Attleboro since 2003, she previously lived in Attleboro, MA.
Marcia enjoyed gardening and especially spending time with her beloved family. She loved traveling, boating, being on the water, and most everything nautical. She often spoke of her favorite family excursion: sailing with her entire family through the Caribbean. "Nana Lambert", as she was known to all, was the most wonderful, proud and adoring grandmother who thought nothing of driving her grandchildren wherever they needed to go, and who delighted in being a meaningful part of their lives.
She was the loving mother of James Christopher Lambert and his wife, Shari (Elrod) Lambert, of Arlington, TX, and Aimee L. (Lambert) Kingston of Braintree, MA. Nana Lambert was the cherished grandmother of Reba E. Lambert, Justine C. Frias, and Ryan C. Kinsgton, and the dear great-grandmother of Taylor Berg and Elijah Frias. She was predeceased by her siblings: Roy French, Barbara Lemoine, and Bruce French; and leaves several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to honor and remember Marcia by gathering for a Visitation on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be privately held on Monday, February 11, 2019 in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA, at which time Marcia will be laid to rest along with her late husband, James, in recognition of his military service to our country.
