Marcia E. Donovan

Marcia "Mems" E. (Conway) Donovan, 66, of Maple Street, Attleboro; died on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She was the wife of Patrick S. Donovan, Sr. to whom she married on September 15, 1995 in Las Vegas. Born in Hingham, Massachusetts on April 10, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Muriel (Hefferman) Conway. Mrs. Donovan was a graduate of Foxboro High School. For several years, Mrs. Donovan was employed by "MOD" Masters of Design in Attleboro as an epoxy painter prior to her retirement in 2009. Among Mrs. Donovan's favorite pastimes were gardening and baking; she also was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to country music and playing video games on her computer. She loved helping others, had a wonderful sense of humor and was full of all sorts of trivial information; but her most treasured time was spent with her family creating lifelong memories to cherish. In addition to her husband, she leaves six children: Jennifer A. Conway of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; Constance M. Fontaine of Attleboro; Kimberly J. Conway of Attleboro; Sgt. Patrick S. Donovan, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Tracey A. Donovan-Spearmam of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; Daniel T. Donovan of Cumberland, Rhode Island; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Linda V. Jodice of Mansfield; Diane F. Poole of Fairfield, Connecticut; four nieces; two nephews; several cousins and dear friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a memorial visitation from 1-4 PM on Sunday, December 15, 2013 and funeral service immediately following at 4 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Burial will be private at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
