Marc Antonio Dargis

Marc Antonio Dargis, 64, of Belchertown, MA, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, MA.
Born on May 15, 1954 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Maurice G. Dargis and the late Rita M. (Cloutier) Dargis.
A graduate of North Attleboro High School and the University of Massachusetts, Marc proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Air Force Reserve, where he served as a Flight Nurse.  He then worked as a Nurse for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, before retiring.
A resident of Belchertown for the past thirty-five years, he was for many years a member of Sacred Heart Church in North Attleboro.
An avid sports fan of all the New England teams, he enjoyed walking, the outdoors, playing sports, reading, working on crossword puzzles, and trips to Florida.
He was the dear brother of Gerald P. Dargis and his wife, Lynn Dargis, of Reston, VA; Richard M. Dargis and his wife, Batilde A. (Botelho) Dargis, of Seminole, FL; and David A. Dargis of West Bath, ME.  He leaves three nieces and two nephews.
Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Marc by gathering for a Visitation on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed at 11:00 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 38 Church Street, North Attleboro, MA.
Graveside Services will follow the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls, at which time Marc will be laid to rest alongside his dear late parents.
